Celebrates the historic anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on June 24, 2022.
Acknowledges the Declaration of Independence’s assertion that “all men are created equal” with “unalienable Rights,” including the right to life.
Highlights the role of modern science in understanding the humanity of unborn life.
Criticizes the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade for inventing a constitutional right to abortion, which denied many unborn lives their right to life.
Notes that more than 63,000,000 unborn lives were lost to abortion under Roe v. Wade.
Commends the Dobbs decision for holding that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion and for returning the authority to regulate abortion to the people and their elected representatives.
Observes that many States have taken steps to protect unborn life since the Dobbs ruling.
Recognizes the efforts of millions in the United States to protect unborn life and support families.
Commits to commemorating the Dobbs ruling, celebrating the lives it will save, protecting the right to life, supporting families and expectant mothers, and proclaiming the humanity of the unborn in line with modern science and justice.
