Invokes congressional authority to enforce the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and regulate federal funding.
Addresses discrimination based on disability, race, color, national origin, age, and sex.
Redesignates existing provisions and adds new language to include all types of compensatory damages in lawsuits against any entity, including state entities.
Specifies that the new provisions regarding compensatory damages will apply to cases without a final court decision as of the enactment date.
