Documentation must be authenticated by designated authorities related to hostage affairs.
Prohibits consumer reporting agencies from including adverse information in consumer reports for the duration of unlawful detention or hostage status if proper documentation is provided.
Includes a technical amendment to the Fair Credit Reporting Act’s table of contents to reflect the new section.
