Amends the Legislative Reorganization Act of 1970.
Authorizes the Legislative Counsel of the House of Representatives to designate multiple attorneys as Deputy Legislative Counsel.
Changes the language to allow for one or more Deputy Legislative Counsels.
Specifies that if there are multiple Deputy Legislative Counsels, the one performing the functions of the Legislative Counsel will be determined by a notice filed with the Speaker and Minority Leader of the House.
Updates terminology in the legislation to reflect the plural form “Deputy Legislative Counsels.”
