Amends the Public Health Service Act, Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, and Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
Requires group health plans and health insurance issuers to provide mental health and substance use disorder services without cost-sharing.
Applies to services provided from the diagnosis of pregnancy through one year after the end of the pregnancy.
Defines “mental health services” and “substance use disorder services” according to existing law.
Includes telehealth services in the coverage requirements.
Establishes continuity of care provisions for pregnant and postpartum individuals receiving treatment.
