Limits the closure or consolidation of United States Postal Service (USPS) processing and distribution centers in states.
Prohibits actions that would result in a state having no USPS processing and distribution center or negatively impact mail delivery.
Defines a “processing and distribution center” as a central mail facility that distributes both incoming and outgoing mail, provides mailing instructions, and is identified as a sectional center facility, a general mail facility, or a dedicated mail processing facility without a station or branch.
Applies to the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
