Amends the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to include LGBTQ+ individuals in the Offices of Minority and Women Inclusion.
Changes the terminology from “Office of Minority and Women Inclusion” to “Office of Minority, Women, and LGBTQ+ Inclusion.”
Expands definitions to include LGBTQ±owned businesses, defined as those with over 50% ownership or control by LGBTQ+ individuals.
Updates various sections of the Dodd-Frank Act to reflect the inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals in terms of gender identity and sexual orientation.
Makes conforming amendments to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 to include LGBTQ+ individuals and businesses.
Introduces a definition for LGBTQ+ that encompasses lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and other identities facing discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
Ensures that references to minority and women-owned businesses are updated to include LGBTQ±owned businesses in relevant sections.
