  • Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to include data on animal abuse in the national clearinghouse for child abuse and neglect information.
  • Specifies that the data on animal abuse should cover incidents resulting in undue pain, suffering, or death to animals.
  • Clarifies that the inclusion of animal abuse data is irrespective of whether it violates state or local cruelty laws.
