Amends title II of the Public Health Service Act to extend certain leave rights to commissioned officers of the Public Health Service and their beneficiaries.
Incorporates leave provisions from title 10, United States Code, which currently apply to commissioned officers of the Army.
Specifically adds a provision allowing for 120 days of leave instead of the previously established 60 days.
Repeals an existing section (Section 219) of the Public Health Service Act to conform with the new amendments.
