SEC. 2. Regulations relating to airline passenger delayed flight compensation
- (a) Codification of final rules
- The following final rules issued by the Secretary of Transportation shall have the force and effect of law:
- The rule titled and published on April 26, 2024 (89 Fed. Reg. 32760).
Refunds and Other Consumer Protections - The rule titled and published on April 30, 2024 (89 Fed. Reg. 34620).
Enhancing Transparency of Airline Ancillary Service Fees
- The rule titled and published on April 26, 2024 (89 Fed. Reg. 32760).
- The following final rules issued by the Secretary of Transportation shall have the force and effect of law:
- (b) Regulations
- The Secretary of Transportation shall issue regulations requiring an air carrier to provide to a passenger who arrives at a destination airport, in the case of a domestic flight, 3 or more hours after the original scheduled arrival time, or in the case of an international flight, 6 or more hours after the original scheduled arrival time, compensation of not less than $200 and not more than $500, depending on the length of the delay.
