This bill would require fast-track deportation for people who entered the U.S. illegally on or after January 20, 2021. “Fast-track” here means removal without a normal court hearing. It would apply even if the person says they plan to ask for asylum or is afraid of persecution, with one exception: it would not apply to anyone serving in the U.S. Armed Forces as of January 1, 2025.
