Read twice and referred to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
This proposal would change federal transportation law to help U.S. cities that host major international sports events. It focuses on transportation help for those events, such as the Olympics or World Cup, so cities can better handle travel demands during the games. It would add a new section in the law titled “Transportation assistance for international sporting events,” under a measure called the “Transportation Assistance for Olympic and World Cup Cities Act of 2025”.
