Requires grant applicants for operating the National Human Trafficking Hotline to certify they will provide information received from the hotline to state and local law enforcement agencies upon request.
Amends Section 107(b)(1)(B)(ii) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 to include this certification requirement for eligibility for grants.
Specifies that the assistance provided to law enforcement must comply with any applicable limitations on disclosure under law and be practicable.
Mandates a joint report from the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security to relevant committees in the House of Representatives and the Senate on the implementation of this amendment.
