The National Association for Gun Rights advocates on behalf of gun owners for pro-Second Amendment related public policy issues including but not limited to the following subject areas and their respective executive departments/agencies and legislative committees: Firearms, ammunition, accessories, right to possess purchase own and carry, background checks, mental health, NICS, registration requirements/databases, federal gun free zones, NFA of 1934, GCA of 1968, gun related Executive Orders, actions, nominations or treaties, 1st and 4th amendment protections for gun owners, and related appropriations. In each case, NAGR opposes gun control and supports removing restrictions on the right to bear arms.
