Senate and House - Support increased funding for BIA & DOJ Law Enforcement funding for Indian Country; support legislation to merge the two departmental budgets for Indian country law enforcement needs; advocate for increased funding and advanced appropriations for I.H.S.; request that federal funding for Indian tribes across federal departments and agencies not be eliminated, reduced, or harmed through the budget reconciliation process, and to stop RIFs; seek funding to complete construction and prepare for operation of new adult detention center; work on FY 2026 CDS project requests. DOI & DOJ - Advocate for Indian country law enforcement enhancement & services. BIA - Seek funding for Law Enforcement and for completion of adult detention center; work on Tribes Indian Managed Health Care facility. BIA & BIE - Work on 638 Contract of remaining BIA and BIE Programs, Services and Facilities.
