H.R. 999/S.422, Right to Contraception Act H.R. 211, Equal Access to Contraception for Veterans Act Opposing provisions impacting reproductive rights in the following legislation: H.R. 1, One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Section 71113 “Federal Payments to Prohibited Entities” and Sec. 44202 “Funding Cost Sharing Reduction Payments.”
- Section 71113 bars Essential Community Providers whose Medicaid reimbursements exceeded $800,000 in FY23 from receiving federal funds if they are primarily engaged in providing family planning or related reproductive health services and provide abortion care beyond the exceptions in the Hyde Amendment.
- Section 44202 eliminates subsidies for Affordable Care Act marketplace insurance plans that cover abortion. Section 44202 was not included in the final version of H.R.
