Administration: Maintaining communication with SBA staff in the Office of Capital Access and the Office of Credit Risk Management regarding the SBA Community Advantage program, and issues impacting the work of Community Advantage (CA) lender, now CA Small Business Lending Companies (CA SBLCs), including updates on the status of proposed program changes. Congress: Worked with members of the Mission Lenders Working Group to educate Members of the 119th Congress and their staff, particularly Members of Congress serving on either the House or Senate Small Business Committees, about the SBA's Community Advantage (CA) loan program and the work of CA Small Business Lending Companies. Assisted CA lenders prepare testimony for Committee hearings on February 12, 2025, for the House Small Business Committee Hearing: "Driving Economic Growth: SBA Lending Programs and the Vital Role of Community Banks," and on February 26, 2025, for the Senate Small Business Committee Hearing: "Hearing from Lenders - Managing Risk for the Long-Term in the 7(a) Loan Program".
