Lobbying Activities
- Supported the Kids Online Safety Act, S. 1748, to set out requirements for covered social media platforms (i.e., applications or services that connect to the internet and are likely to be used by minors) to protect minors from online harms. - Supported comprehensive data privacy legislation in both House and Senate to establish requirements for how companies, including nonprofits and common carriers, handle personal data, which includes information that identifies or is reasonably linkable to an individual. - Supported the Stop the Scroll Act, S. 1885, a bill to require the Federal Trade Commission, with the concurrence of the Secretary of Health and Human Services acting through the Surgeon General, to implement a mental health warning label on covered platforms. - Supported reauthorization efforts for the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015. - Supported the Sunset Section 230 Act (H.R. 6746/S. 3546)
- Supported S.1272, the Trade Review Act of 2025, to return tariff authority to the legislative branch.
