Read twice and referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.
This bill would create a public, interactive website that lists federal grants for mental health and substance use programs. It must be easy to use and accessible to people with disabilities. The site would show which grants are open, closed, or already awarded, and link to program pages and applications. It would also let people search by topic and location, and include information from states about subgrants when available. The Health and Human Services Department would keep the site up to date and consult with schools, nonprofits, health providers, tribes, and other users to make the tool helpful and user‑friendly .
The plan to launch the site must be made public within 180 days, and the dashboard must be up and running within 2 years after the bill becomes law. The department can pull in state data, especially for block grants, to show how funds are passed down and where to apply at the state level .
