• This Act may be cited as the or the .

SEC. 2. Defining for purposes of background checks under the National Child Protection Act of 1993

• Section 5(9)(B) of the National Child Protection Act of 1993 () is amended— 34 U.S.C. 40104(9)(B)
• Defining for purposes of background checks under the National Child Protection Act of 1993
  • in clause (i)—
    • by inserting after ;
    • by inserting after ; and
    • by striking or at the end;
  • by redesignating clause (ii) as clause (iii);
    • (ii) is employed by or volunteers with, or seeks to be employed by or volunteer with, an entity that is under contract with a qualified entity;
  • by inserting after clause (i) the following:
  • in clause (iii), as so redesignated, by adding at the end; and or
    • (iv) is licensed or certified, or seeks to be licensed or certified, by a qualified entity;
