• This Act may be cited as the or the .

SEC. 2. Assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees

• Section 111 of title 18, United States Code, is amended—
  • in subsection (a)—
    • by striking under this titleand inserting up to 00,000;
    • by striking one yearand inserting two years; and
    • by striking 8 yearsand inserting 10 years; and
  • in subsection (b)—
    • by inserting after the following: ;
    • by striking shall be fined under this titleand inserting shall be fined up to $500,000, notwithstanding section 3571,; and
    • by striking 20 yearsand inserting 25 years.
