This bill renews the Deschutes River Conservancy Working Group and updates how its board is made up. The board must have 10 to 15 members and include people from key parts of the Deschutes River Basin: the environmental community (2), irrigated agriculture (2), the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon (2), hydroelectric production (1), a federal agency with duties in the basin (1), an Oregon state agency such as the Department of Fish and Wildlife or the Water Resources Department (1), and a local government in the basin (1). The act also raises the limit on administrative costs from 5% to 10%. The short title is the Deschutes River Conservancy Reauthorization Act of 2025 , and it reauthorizes the Working Group under the Oregon Resource Conservation Act of 1996.
