Introduced on April 7, 2025 by Eleanor Holmes Norton
This bill lets the D.C. Council send its approved laws to Congress by email or another electronic method, instead of only on paper. It also says the House and Senate must accept these electronic copies the same way they accept paper ones. This covers regular D.C. laws and changes to the D.C. Charter .
In plain terms, this makes the process faster and more modern. It can reduce delays and paperwork when D.C. laws are reviewed by Congress .
