SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the District of Columbia Medicaid Fairness Act.

SEC. 2. Adjustment of FMAP for District of Columbia

• Section 1905 of the Social Security Act () is amended— 42 U.S.C. 1396d
  • in the first sentence of subsection (b), by striking this titleand everything that follows through and inserting shall be 70 percent; and
    • (ll) Federal medical assistance percentage for the District of Columbia
      • For purposes of clause (3) of the first sentence of subsection (b), the percentage specified in this subsection for a fiscal year is—
        • for a fiscal year before fiscal year 2027, 70 percent;
        • for fiscal year 2027, 65 percent;
        • for fiscal year 2028, 60 percent; and
        • for fiscal year 2029, 55 percent.
