Green Federal Fleet Act

This bill would shift the federal government’s passenger car fleet to zero-emission vehicles. Federal agencies could only buy or lease new non-tactical passenger vehicles that produce no exhaust pollution, except water vapor. An agency could choose a non–zero-emission vehicle only if it decides a zero-emission one is not technically possible for that situation. Existing purchases and leases are not affected.
