SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the Healthy Lunch for Healthy Kids Act.

SEC. 2. Nutritional and other requirements

• Section 9(a)(1)(A) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act is amended—
  • in clause (i), by striking and at the end;
  • in clause (ii), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and; and
    • (iii) shall prohibit—
    • ultraprocessed foods (as described in group 4 of the NOVA classification system); and
    • foods containing—
    • potassium bromate;
    • propylparaben;
    • titanium dioxide;
    • brominated vegetable oil;
    • yellow dye 5;
    • yellow dye 6;
    • blue dye 1;
    • blue dye 2;
    • green dye 3;
    • red dye 3; or
    • red dye 40.
