This bill tells the U.S. Department of the Interior to study whether it makes sense to create “Florida Springs National Park” in Central and North Florida. The study would look at how important the area is, if a park is suitable and doable, and what it might cost. It also requires talking with federal, state, and local groups, nonprofits, and interested community members, and to consider other ways to protect and share the area besides a national park. A report with results and recommendations would be due within three years after funding starts.
