This bill would require the federal health department to launch a public website, pregnancy.gov, within one year. The site would list federal, state, local, and private resources for pregnant and postpartum women, and for women parenting young children. You could answer a few questions and enter your ZIP code to get a tailored list, filter by online options or by distance (1, 5, 10, 50, or 100 miles), give feedback, and, if you choose, share contact info so the department can follow up with more help. The site must also offer services in other languages to reach more families .
States would be invited to recommend resources. To be listed, a resource must meet federal criteria, including having at least three years of service and not being a “prohibited entity.” Prohibited entities include organizations that perform, refer for, or counsel in favor of abortions, or fund groups that do. These entities also cannot receive grants under this bill. The federal government would offer grants to states to build or support systems that gather and maintain these resource lists. The department must report to Congress within 180 days of the site going live on traffic, user feedback, gaps in services, and confirm no prohibited entities are included; the report cannot contain personal identifying information. Funding for the website comes from existing department funds; the grant program may use up to $50 million total from 2026 through 2030 from existing health programs .
