SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the Protect Your PIN Act of 2025.

SEC. 2. Local law enforcement grants for enforcement of cybercrimes and identity theft

• Section 1401 of the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization Act of 2022 () is amended— 34 U.S.C. 30107
  • in subsection (a)—
    • by redesignating paragraph (3) as paragraph (4); and
      • (3) Identity theft
        • The term identity theft means a criminal offense applicable in the area under the jurisdiction of the relevant State, Indian Tribe, or unit of local government that involves knowingly transferring, possessing, or using, without lawful authority, a means of identification of another person.
    • by inserting after paragraph (2) the following:
  • in subsections (b) through (d), by inserting after each place such term appears.
