• This Act may be cited as the Protecting Young Minds Online Act.

SEC. 2. Center for Mental Health Services strategy to address effects of new technologies on children’s mental health

• Section 520(b) of the Public Health Service Act () is amended— 42 U.S.C. 290bb–31(b)
  • in paragraph (16), by striking and at the end;
  • in paragraph (17), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and; and
    • develop and implement a strategy to help local communities address the effects of new technologies, such as social media, on children’s mental health.
