SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the Repeal Community Development Block Grants Act of 2025.

SEC. 2. Abolition of grants

• (a) Abolition of grants
  • Section 101 and sections 103 through 122 of title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 () are repealed. 42 U.S.C. 5301 et seq.
• (b) Effective date
  • The amendments made by this section shall take effect on October 1, 2025.
