SEC. 1. Short title
- This Act may be cited as River’s Law.
SEC. 2. Safety requirements for child care providers
- Section 658E(c)(2)(I) of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 () is amended— 42 U.S.C. 9858c(c)(2)(I)
- in clause (i)(XI), by striking and inserting a semicolon;
- by redesignating clause (ii) as clause (iii); and
- (ii) shall include—
- a prohibition on constructing, maintaining, or otherwise operating a pool on the premises of any facility where such services are provided; and
- a requirement to install door and window alarms in any facility where such services are provided; and
- by inserting after clause (i) the following:
