SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the Safeguarding Trust in Our Politics Act.

• (a) In general
  • of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended— Section 501(c)(3)
    • by striking and which does not participateand inserting which does not participate, and
    • by striking the period at the end and inserting .
• (b) Effective date
  • The amendments made by this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.
