SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the Service Member Housing Relief Act.

SEC. 1. Temporary adjustment to a rate of the basic allowance for housing for members of the uniformed services: lower threshold; permanent authority

• Section 403(b)(8) of title 37, United States Code, is amended—
  • in subparagraph (A), by striking 20 percentand inserting 15 percent; and
  • by striking subparagraph (C).
