SEC. 1. Short title
- This Act may be cited as the Setting the Table for Transition Act.
SEC. 2. Temporary expanded SNAP income eligibility of households that include certain veterans
- For the purpose of determining income under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 () during the 100-day period that begins on the date a veteran receives a Report of Separation (DD form 214) of a household that includes a member who is a veteran, only the income of such veteran shall be considered. 7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.
SEC. 3. Definition
- For purposes of this Act, the term means an individual who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable.

- This Act shall take effect 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
