SEC. 1. Modification of certain provisions relating to AUKUS defense trade cooperation
- Section 38 of the Arms Export Control Act () is amended— 22 U.S.C. 2778
- in subsection (j)(1)(C)(ii)—
- by striking subclauses (I), (II), and (III); and
- redesignating subclauses (IV), (V), (VI), and (VII) as subclauses (I), (II), (III), and (IV), respectively; and
- in subsection (l)(4)—
- in subparagraph (B), by striking
subsection (j)(1)(C)(ii)and insertingany of subclauses (I) through (IV) of subsection (j)(1)(C)(ii); and - in subparagraph (C)(ii), by adding at the end before the period the following: .

SEC. 2. Statement of policy
- (a) In general
- It shall no longer be the policy of the United States to apply a to exports of materials considered Category 1 or 2 of the Missile Technology Control Regime to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allies, major non-NATO allies, or the other countries of the intelligence alliance.
