SEC. 1. Extension and modification of annual report on military and security developments involving the People’s Republic of China

• (a) Matters To be included
  • Subsection (b) of section 1202 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 ( note) is amended— 10 U.S.C. 113
    • in paragraph (3)(C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ;
    • in paragraph (7)(A), by inserting after ;
    • in paragraph (8)(A)—
      • by striking infrastructure) andand inserting infrastructure),; and
      • by striking the period at the end and inserting ;
    • in paragraph (9)(B), by striking and other advanced technologiesand inserting biotechnology, and other advanced and emerging technologies; and
    • in paragraph (10)—
      • in subparagraph (A), by striking and at the end;
      • by redesignating subparagraph (B) as subparagraph (C); and
      • by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following:
        • the likely strategic intent of the People’s Liberation Army in a conflict over Taiwan, and how the People’s Republic of China will conduct a cyber enabled economic warfare campaign, a cross straight invasion campaign, or a blockade campaign; and
• (b) Termination
  • Subsection (a) of such section is amended by striking January 31, 2027and inserting January 31, 2030.
