This bill tells the Secretary of the Navy to officially recognize parts of the National Navy UDT–SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida, as national memorials. It names the museum’s main memorial, its Memorial Garden and Living Beach, and its Naval Special Warfare K9 Memorial as the national memorials for Navy SEALs and their K9 partners.
In plain terms, it makes these museum sites the official national places to honor SEALs and their service dogs. This can raise the museum’s profile, encourage visits, and strengthen recognition for fallen SEALs and military working dogs.
