SEC. 1. Short title
- This Act may be cited as the UAP Whistleblower Protection Act.
SEC. 2. Whistleblower protections for disclosures relating to the use of Federal taxpayer funds to evaluate or research unidentified anomalous phenomenon material
- (a) Federal civilian employees
- Section 2302(b)(8) of title 5, United States Code, is amended—
- in subparagraph (A)—
- in clause (i), by striking
orat the end; - in clause (ii), by striking the comma at the end and inserting ; and
- (iii) the use of Federal taxpayer funds to evaluate or research unidentified anomalous phenomenon material,
- by inserting after clause (ii) the following:
- in clause (i), by striking

- Section 1034(c)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:
- (2) DOD contractors
- The use of Federal taxpayer funds to evaluate or research unidentified anomalous phenomenon material.
- Section 4701(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:
- (1) Armed Forces
- (d) Federal civilian contractors
- Section 4712(a)(1) of title 41, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the following; .
- (e) Intelligence community
- Section 1104 of the National Security Act of 1947 () is amended— 50 U.S.C. 3234
- in subsection (b)(1)—
- in subparagraph (A), by striking
orat the end; - in subparagraph (B), by inserting after the semicolon; and
- the use of Federal taxpayer funds to evaluate or research unidentified anomalous phenomenon material;
