Urban Indian Health Parity Act

This bill makes the federal government pay the full Medicaid cost (100%) for services provided by Urban Indian Organizations. Today, states usually share Medicaid costs with the federal government. Under this change, when an Urban Indian Organization treats a Medicaid patient, the federal government would cover it all. This aims to lower state costs and strengthen health services for American Indians and Alaska Natives living in cities.
