Mr. THOMPSON of Mississippi. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor a remarkable servant, Mrs. Morgan Hoben.
Mrs. Morgan Hoben, a native of Natchez, Mississippi, is a graduate of Natchez-Adams High School, Class of 2002.
and two years in the classroom, she brings both experience and passion to her role as a high school teacher of Journalism, Oral Communication, and Debate. Mrs. Hoben's educational journey reflects her deep commitment to learning and growth. She is a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Natchez Campus), The University, where she earned advanced credentials in education.
and her ability to connect with students across disciplines. In the classroom, Mrs. Hoben is known for creating engaging, real-world learning experiences that empower students to find their voice, think critically, and communicate with confidence. She is especially passion about developing student leaders through journalism and debate, while also serving as a strong advocate for the arts and creative expression.
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Hoben has a long-standing history of service to others and is an active member of several professional and community organizations. Her work reflects a deep belief in the power of education to transform lives an strengthen communities. Mrs. Hoben is married to Jason Hoben, and together they are the proud parents of two sons, Jack and Michael.
