Next Meeting of the SENATE

Program for Tuesday: Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Sheria Akins Clarke, of South Carolina, to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina, and vote on the motion to invoke cloture thereon at 11:45 a.m. If cloture is invoked on the nomination, Senate will vote on confirmation thereon at 2:15 p.m.
Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Evan Rikhye, of the Virgin Islands, to be Judge for the District Court of the Virgin Islands for a term of ten years.
Senate expects to vote on or in relation to S.J. Res. 185, Hostilities Within or Against the Islamic Republic of Iran during Tuesday's session of the Senate.
(Senate will recess following the vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Sheria Akins Clarke until 2 p.m. for their respective party conferences.)
