Mr. KEAN. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the Borough of Watchung in Somerset County as it celebrates its 100th anniversary, an extraordinary milestone marking a century of community, history, and civic pride.
Jersey Legislature, Watchung began its journey in self-governance when its first Borough Council convened on May 24, 1926. From that moment, the Borough has fostered a proud tradition of civic leadership rooted in dedication to public service and community betterment.
