Mr. HUDSON. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the life of an extraordinary North Carolinian, my friend Mr. Donny “Don” Kay Price.
- passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A great American patriot, Don loved his country. He served four years in the United States Air Force, 482nd Fighter Squadron, and completed a tour in Pakistan before settling in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Don began working at LaFayette Ford as a car salesman and eventually worked his way up to become the sole owner in 1995.

He served Salem Methodist Church, the Fayetteville Kiwanis Club, the Eastover Civic Club, the Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base Special Activities Committee, and was a chairperson for the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Council. Don always used to say, “If you are good to your community, your community will be good to you,” and he truly embodied that sentiment.
