Mr. President, as chair of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, each week I recognize an outstanding Iowa small business that exemplifies the American entrepreneurial spirit. This week, it is my privilege to honor Kendrick Forest Products of Delaware County, IA, as the Senate Small Business of the Week.
is a family-owned forestry business that has grown from a small logging operation to become Iowa's largest sawmill. What began as a modest venture has expanded into a fully integrated operation supporting the entire forestry process, from harvesting and milling to kiln drying and exporting products worldwide. Today, their products reach over 18 countries.
