Mr. THUNE. Mr. President, I understand that there are four bills at the desk due for a second reading en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator is correct.
The clerk will read the bills by title for the second time en bloc.
The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (S. 4952) to combat fraud in Federal programs, and
for other purposes.
A bill (H.R. 2347) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of
1986 to exclude from gross income any damages, other than
punitive
damages, received on account of any sexual acts or sexual
contact.
A bill (H.R. 5334) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of
1986 to allow early childhood educators to take the educator
expense deduction, and for other purposes.
A bill (H.R. 8469) making appropriations for military
construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related
agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027, and
for other purposes.
Mr. THUNE. In order to place the bills on the calendar under the provisions of rule XIV, I would object to further proceedings en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection having been heard, the bills will be placed on the calendar under the provisions of rule XIV.
