Mr. WALKINSHAW. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the life and legacy of John Patrick Dwyer, a devoted husband, father, Navy veteran, labor advocate, and longtime community leader whose service and dedication left a lasting impact on Northern Virginia and all who knew him.

Above all else, John was devoted to his family. He shared 45 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kathy, and took immense pride in his children, grandchildren, and extended family. Those who knew him will remember his storytelling, his quick wit, and his ability to bring people together with warmth and humor.
Mr. Speaker, John Dwyer's life was one of service, friendship, and dedication to others. I ask my colleagues to join me in honoring his memory and extending our deepest condolences to his wife, Kathy, his family, and all those whose lives were touched by his remarkable example.
