extraordinary 40-year career of service to our Nation and retires as
the 22nd Commanding General of the United States Army Materiel Command. Lieutenant General Mohan has dedicated four decades to strengthening our Nation's military readiness and supporting the men and women who serve. Throughout his distinguished career, he has led soldiers and civilians at every level, including multiple command assignments across the United States and overseas. His leadership has been instrumental in sustaining our Armed Forces during Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom.
Mohan has overseen one of the Army's largest organizations, ensuring our servicemembers have the equipment, resources, and support they need to accomplish their missions around the world. His previous leadership at the Army Sustainment Command at the Rock Island Arsenal further strengthened our region's proud tradition of supporting America's military.
Mr. Speaker, Lieutenant General Mohan's career reflects the highest ideals of service, leadership, and commitment to our country. I join his family, colleagues, and grateful Nation in congratulating him on his well-earned retirement and thanking him for his decades of selfless service to the United States.
