Mr. PAUL. Madam President, as a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, I rise today to recognize Crume Drug Store of Bardstown, KY, as my Senate Small Business of the Week.
Crume Drug Store has served Nelson County continuously since 1852. For more than 170 years, the business has adapted to changes in medicine, technology, and the retail pharmacy industry while remaining a trusted presence in downtown Bardstown.
Store as equal partners. Derrick is a Doctor of Pharmacy and serves as co-owner and pharmacist. Ashley is a certified pharmacy technician and co-owner. Together, they have preserved the store's historic identity while operating it as a modern, locally owned community pharmacy.

professionals. The pharmacy has employed students through local cooperative education programs and has provided pharmacy interns with practical experience serving patients and working in a community pharmacy.

Derrick and Ashley prefer to let their work speak for itself. They focus on serving their customers well, remaining approachable, supporting their employees, and helping their neighbors whenever possible.
