Mr. SESSIONS. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to thank a trusted member of my team and dedicated public servant, my Legislative Director, Tyler Sawyer, as he prepares to conclude more than half a decade of service in my office.
Washington after graduating from Trinity University, where he served as captain of the basketball team. On January 3, 2021, he began his career on Capitol Hill in my office as a legislative correspondent, and he has been with me ever since.
grow into an exceptional leader. He steadily rose through the ranks of my office, taking on greater responsibilities and earning the trust of his colleagues before ultimately becoming my Legislative Director.

Mr. Speaker, public service is strengthened by people who take seriously the responsibility entrusted to them. Tyler Sawyer is one of those people. I thank Tyler for his adaptability, his counsel, and his loyalty over these past six years. It has been a privilege to watch him grow from a young legislative correspondent into the leader he is today. I am proud and grateful for all that he has given to our team, and confident that the same character and determination that defined his time in my office will serve him well in whatever comes next.
